BSL Productions Makes Official Entry into the National Lighting Production, Rental, Sales and Installation Markets with Asset Purchase of Baltimore Stage Lighting

March 15th, 2004, BSL Productions, Inc., a Theatrical Lighting Production, Rental and Permanent Installation Company, purchased the assets of Baltimore Stage Lighting, a well respected, 28 year old lighting operation. BSL Productions, Inc. is owned by Ajay Patil and Blayne Candy. Candy and Patil also own Showcall Inc.

Halethorpe, MD March 17, 2004 -- BSL Productions, Inc., a Theatrical Lighting Production, Rental and Permanent Installation Company, purchased the assets of Baltimore Stage Lighting, a well respected, 28 year old lighting operation. BSL Productions, Inc. is owned by Ajay Patil and Blayne Candy. Candy and Patil also own Showcall Inc., a Special Event Technical Production Company, located in Rockville, Maryland.

BSL will operate under the name BSL and/or BSL Productions and will be headquartered at their 30,000 square foot facility at 10 Azar Court, Halethorpe, Maryland. The company already has numerous events scheduled across the country and projects significant growth in the size of their inventory and the number of personnel, in the near future.

BSL, founded in 1976, quickly established itself as a premiere lighting production company by providing concert tour lighting for Liza Minnelli, Gloria Estefan & The Miami Sound Machine, Frank Sinatra and 10,000 Maniacs. Recently, BSL has provided lighting production for The White House, Verizon, Mary Kay Cosmetics and The Inauguration of the Governor of Mississippi.
